The highest ranking firms on the overall Technology Fast 500 from the area were Santa Barbara-based FastSpring , a developer of software e-commerce tools headed by Dan Engel , which was ranked at number 13 nationally with 17,468% revenue growth from 2006 to 2010.

The Tech Coast Angels is stressing its mixer program, seed investment efforts, and a new website, as it kicks off a 2010 program, according to the angel investing group. The group also said it is focusing on its SeedTrack program, which is specifically focused on seed stage funding and extensive mentoring.

By early 2010, I found my stylistic voice and identified my audience of emerging entrepreneurs and thus dropped my penname. I will also increase the amount of video content, including snippets from talks given by my UC Santa Barbara classroom guest speakers. I published 21-Skype interviews during 2011.

I responded to his tweet, we chatted on the phone and he asked me to co-host the event on Dec 14th, 2010. I’m going to throw a clean shirt in my laptop bag next time I travel!
