Agoura Hills-based videogame maker THQ is diverging from the usual, first-person-shooter and action games genre with its latest title, saying Monday that it will be publishing a new title from author Deepak Chopra. The software was developed by Curious Pictures, the media publisher behind Little Einsteins and Team Umizoomi.

Agoura Hills-based DTS Digital Cinema disclosed this morning that it is in a strategic alliance to co-brand products along with Qube Cinema. The firms said that the alliance will bring together Qube's digital cinema server, software, and media delivery systems with DTS surround sound and content management software.
