Always-on connectivity of mobile (164m US smartphone users). We’re all socially connected (so great businesses spread faster). Lower costs to start a business (95% reduction), many more companies created & funded by angels / seed. We are in a bubble (with so many private $1bn+ valuations). Where are we today?

Scott Lahman is co-founder of Los Angeles-based GOGII (www.gogii.com), the developer of group text messaging application textPlus. Lahman is also one of the co-founders of JAMDAT Mobile, the immensely successful developer of mobile games, which had an IPO in 2004, and eventually became part of Electronic Arts in 2006.

There's been a dramatic shift in recent years from the traditional videogame model, to social, mobile, and casual games.
