Arcadia-based eSports company Counter Logic Gaming has been acquired by Madison Square Garden Company , the two said on Monday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. According to the companies, The Madison Square Garden Company acquired the controlling stake in Counter Logic Gaming, which was founded by George Georgallidis. Counter Logic Gaming organizes e-sports tournaments around such titles as League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Super Smash Bros.

Myricom Adds Distributor

The deal was worth $15M in cash. Siimpel was founded in 2000, and had 42 employees, as well as a stable of 65 patents and patent applications.

Siimpel said the new round of funding was led by DOCOMO Capital, and also included Qualcomm, Motorola, Micron Technology, and its existing venture investors, which includes Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Portage Venture Partners, Zone Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, and SunAmerica.
