Two Los Angeles cloud computing firm have joined the new Openstack Foundation , an industry group looking to promote the open cloud computing system spawned out of Rackspace. The foundation said it will help the development, distribution and adoption of the OpenStack cloud software. Intel, NEC and VMware.

There are lots of areas that get lots of attention, but when you go into the middleware of cloud computing, there are lots of technical challenges, but there are not many people wanting to jump in and do that. It's not geolocation, gamified, mobile apps.
