The company said the buy will help it expand its product portfolio. Clubspeed says it provides its software to family entertainment centers.

According to Cast& Crew, Mellott has been at Final Draft for 14 years, having joined the company in 2006.

Amazon Expands Tech Hub In San Diego

According to Amazon, it has opened up a new, 85,000 square foot office as its San Diego Tech Hub, where employees will work in the areas of software development, machine learning, cloud computing, and digital entertainment. The company says the new office is at Campus Pointe in the University Town Center neighborhood.
