Symwave is venture backed by Kodiak Venture Partners and CMEA Ventures, and is developing low power, high speed PHYs and analog front end ICs for the networking and communications market.

Building through internal development, or organic growth, makes the most sense when you have a core set of skilled internal resources.

As a long-time business advisor and angel investor, I’m a believer that “two heads are better than one” in building a new business. The reason is that good attributes apply equally well to “external” partners, as they do to internal partners, like a co-founder or CTO. This is probably the best place to apply your “gut” feeling.

Since then, I have worked extensively with mentoring youth, and helping them figure out what's possible in terms of careers.

Andy Wen was the CTO of Christianity.com, and the CTO of early online education firm VCampus, and he also ran the product and web security for eTrade, as well as started a company called Lighthound deals, like a Groupon. It's a pretty credible team and we're starting to staff up on the product and development side.
