Earlier this month, Los Angeles-based LifeCrowd (www.lifecrowd.com) unveiled its service to help connect people with real life activities. Enter the light bulb, which was that this was a real opportunity to create a new platform, which can facilitate connecting experts with users. Tony Adam is an advisor, he was formerly at MySpace.

You’ll get sales information from your VP of Sales, marketing information from your VP Marketing, tech information from your CTO and so on. I had long ago ceded the knowledge and responsibility for making the detailed technical recommendations about platforms, databases, hosting solutions, etc. Skipping is insidious.

There's a large number of on-demand services which have been appearing recently, to help people deal with almost every aspect of their life. Parenting has always required a village of support, and we consider our platform to be that village. I started as a teenager, and I did babysitting, life guarding, and swim coaching.
