Retrophin Sinks as Drug “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli Co-Invented Fails

Retrophin, the drug developer founded by jailed former biotech executive Martin Shkreli, has failed its first big test. The San Diego-based company’s experimental drug fosmetpantotenate failed a Phase 3 trial, FORT, in patients with a rare and deadly neurological disorder called pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration, or PKAN. The Retrophin (NASDAQ: RTRX ) drug flunked all of its main and secondary goals in the study, which tested fosmetpantotenate against a placebo in PKAN patients.

Report: Sexual Misconduct, Harassment Common For Zeel Therapists

Zeel , the on-demand, massage service which launched in the Los Angeles area back in 2014, is facing accusations that the company has been tolerating sexual misconduct and harassment of its massage therapists. According to the report, from Gizmodo, Zeel "routinely ignored reports of sexual misconduct" and in at least one instance, a therapist "dispatched to the hotel room of a man with a criminal record for a sex crime" who sexually harassed that therapist.
