Virgin Hyperloop One Completes First Passenger Test

Los Angeles-based Virgin Hyperloop One has completed its first manned, passenger test of its high speed transportation system, saying on Sunday that it has tested human travel in a hyperloop pod for the first time. The company said that two people--Josh Giegel, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, and Sara Luchian, Director of Passenger Experience--were sent through the company's 500 meter DevLoop test site in Las Vegas.

Los Angeles-based electric car maker Fisker Automotive is doing a "virtual" ringing of the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange this morning, after the company completed a SPAC transaction which makes the company a public company. The company said founder and CEO Henrik Fisker will be "ringing the bell virtually" at the NYSE.
