SpaceX Calls Off Block 5 Launch, To Try Again Tomorrow

Hawthorne-based SpaceX called off its first launch of its Falcon 9 Block 5 rocket, and its payload, the Bangabandhu Satellite-1, merely seconds before launch on Thursday, saying that it was "standing down" due to a "standard ground system auto abort". The abort came at T-1 minutes. According to SpaceX, the rocket and payload are in "good health" and it will attempt a launch at 4:14 p.m.

PrescribeWellness Acquires Assets From VoicePort

Irvine-based PrescribeWellness , which develops cloud-based patient relationship management software, said this week that it has acquired the pharmacy-related assets of VoicePort. VoicePort is a provider of interactive voice response products for regional pharmacy chains and independent pharmacies. Financial details of the buy were not announced. PrescribeWelness said it will use the assets to extend its offerings.
