San Diego-based solar and clean energy project developer EDF Renewable Energy said Thursday that it has signed a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) to tap into a 186 megawatt power project being build in Riverside County. EDF Renwable Energy said the Desert Harvest Solar Project, being build on approximately 1,200 acres of land managed by the US Bureau of Land Management in Riverside County, is expected to begin delivering electricity in 2020.
