Quest Software Loses CEO

Aliso Viejo-based Quest Software said Tuesday afternoon that CEO and President Doug Garn has stepped down. Quest said that Garn is stepping down due to "pressing health issues." Quest said that Smith will remain Chairman of the company. Smith had served as CEO of Quest from 1997 to 2008. Garn had been CEO for three years.
