More specifically, we are a real time bidding platform which enables marketplaces to be set up, where an advertiser can bid on consumers who are in the process of buying a particular product. Real time bidding allows advertisers to bid on users in a particular market, who are likely to be purchasing that company''s product.

Chris Tragos: Typically, with an advertising RFP, a campaign will come pre-loaded with a standard ad spot and creative. At Spin Media, we tried to do that ourselves, but that really sucked up product and development resources, who really should have been working on building the user experience, rather than ads.

It was a logical system to start offering up cloud-based systems like those we had developed. But what they also did is figure out, is instead of talking about whether something is a good product, how it works, and how much it costs, they always have advertised how that product makes you feel.
