Online advertising provider Real Media Group , which is part of 24/7 Media, said today that it has launched three new video formats. The Social Slide Bar links users to social media sites like Facebook; the Action Button links to retailers like Amazon.com; and the Click-to-Long Play format features links to longer, branded content.

In a demonstration of the power of targeting in a world of ubiquitous computing power, Santa Monica-based ad startup GumGum is powering a new advertising campaign which is able to target ads based on hair color shown in photos. GumGum offers up in-image photo advertising technology, which slides in ads in photographs and images.

When I need to give a speech and I’m writing a slide for my deck, I think up the story in my mind that I’m going to tell for this slide. I cranked out 20+ slides based on this pre-existing metaphor of media in my head. The process of visualization is literally imagining or seeing things in your mind. No matter.
