According to a report today from VentureWire, Aliso Viejo-based Predixion Software has added $3M to the firm's Series A funding round, from Palomar Ventures. Predixion is developing data mining and analytics software, and is headed by Simon Arkell, formerly of Triton Pacific Capital Partners and Gramercy Ventures.
Prior investors DFJ Frontier, EMC, Miramar Venture Partners and Palomar Ventures also participated. According to Predixion, the strategic investment round also includes a deal with Accenture, where the companies will jointly develop a range of advanced analytics solutions for their clients. Mixed Signals was venture funded by Maverick Capital, Palomar Ventures, and RRE, and was headed by Eric Conley, and was founded in 1997.
The funding was led by M12, and also included Adobe, Sony Innovation Fund by IGV1, Heart Ventures, and individuals from Stone Point Capital. Ace Metrix , a provider of technology for television advertising analytics, said today that it has raised $8M in a funding round from WPP, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Leapfrog Ventures, and Palomar Ventures.
