Hint: He was an entrepreneur. The same is true of entrepreneurs.

I continue to see stories of really young entrepreneurs, like this article on Business Fastlane , with kids as young as 9 years old who have successful businesses. Another one is The Little Entrepreneur by Michael H. The best way to learn is a “hands-on” approach like creating a simple business to sell lemonade or deliver newspapers.

I got to experience this entrepreneurship focus firsthand helping out as facilitator at the first Startup Weekend with the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles earlier this year where 26 girls came together over a weekend to build companies. I had a few home runs early on and the company grew.
