I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Jod at the Los Angeles UX Meetup in the Yahoo! He was the guest speaker for the sold out event titled, “ Designing Beyond the Device.” Jod is the Experience Design Director at Blitz and is considered to be a visionary, known for being way ahead of his time.

Further to the south are the legendary companies of Cisco, Apple, Intel, eBay, Yahoo!, Many “tech companies” now have green screens. And costume & set designers. In fact, so many DID NOT that companies like Google & Yahoo! It is the birthplace of Hewlett Packard. And Facebook. And make-up artists.

That said, Apple will remain a closed system designed to drive media consumption through a closed iTunes system and a take a toll for media distribution. At the time all telco’s were envious of Yahoo! Torso TV - Television was designed for a mass audience in a single country. The device itself will have no storage.
