An investment doesn’t guarantee your product will suddenly be on the investor’s price sheet. I made the point (not widely publicized) that OS4 is currently “breaking&# many applications that use ad networks that are not Apples (most notably AdMob, owned by Google). Competitors: Playdom , Social Gaming Network.

Messenger : Kevin O’Connor , Co-Founder of FindTheBest , former Co-Founder and CEO DoubleClick (sold to Google, $3.1B, seed investor ISS (sold to IBM, $1.3B), Co-Founder ICC (sold to DCA $25mm). This might sound a bit off, but I actually thought the movie “The Social Network,” did a phenomenal job at depicting the essence a startup.

My family had the very first edition of the IBM XT computer with a 10 MB hard drive. I took an advanced computer course in high school where I learned to build databases in Ashton Tate’s dBase III+ and to compile my designs using a product called Clipper. on all the computers and established a network using Novell.

Not just the fact that you Tweet publicly versus privately, but also that they’re open in letting their Tweet stream flow into other products & services. I just want to point out that longer-term value is often harder to perceive when a product is still going through its growth stage. They’re an open feed. Not so open.
