There's a new, startup incubator in town in West Los Angeles--this time, launching out of Loyola Marymount University and its College of Business. According to the school, it has launched the The LMU CBA Business Incubator , a brand new startup incubator focused on companies in the technology and consumer products area.

The meeting had a decent case study and some pretty good discussion around the room of different tools that you might consider using. What's interesting about that opinion is that there were people in the room who were more than happy to share their ideas around tools and techniques to use as part of the discussion.

CitySourced provides a free, simple, and intuitive tool empowering citizens to identify civil issues (potholes, graffiti, trash, snow removal, etc.) What are you working on now?

The app, called Aglet , was created by Ryan Mullins, the former head of digital innovation strategy for Adidas, and it’s offering a way to collect virtual versions of limited edition sneakers and, eventually, design tools so all the would-be Virgil Ablohs and Kanye Wests of the world can make their own shoes for the metaverse.

Kitchen United just opened a 12,000 square foot facility in Pasadena for just that purpose — and has plans to open more locations in West Los Angeles; Jersey City, N.J.; The company is also pitching labor management, menu management and delivery tools to help streamline the process of getting a new location up and running.

Talk about your strategy of offering both tools for consumers, and APIs for developers. Because it was in our nature to build tools for developers, it was never a question we'd offer APIs.
