After my company was acquired by Salesforce.com I was asked to stop blogging and they took over my blog as an asset in the sale of the company. My blog was wiped out.

In 2006 I started using Facebook and most of my friends & colleagues thought I was strange. In 2008 I started VC blogging. I had blogged when I was an entrepreneur. I had blogged when I was an entrepreneur. I went to an industry event where people actually called me self-centered for writing publicly.

The power to me was that I had already been blogging about my personal life and my children as well as separately about my startup. This is exactly how Rajat Suri uses Facebook as he outlined in his comment here on my blog. I read almost all of these.
