More interestingly Montgomery expect the M&A market to grow to 600 in 2011 and 750 in 2012. 25 years ago you had the likes of IBM and Digital who sold end-to-end solutions including hardware, OS, applications and services. When you look at the likes of Cisco, HP and Oracle (note they bought Sun) it seems a return to this model.
