Calabasas-based Ixia reported this morning that it has completed its acquisition of Agilent Technologies' Data Networks Product LIne. N2X provides high speed, Ethernet IP testing products. Tags: ixia agilent merger acquisition testing. Ixia had said it would acquire the Agilent product division last week.

Broadcom Limited , the network semiconductor giant which is a mashup of Broadcom and Avago Technologies, said this morning that it has acquired Brocade Communications Systems , the developer of Fibre Channel switching technology, for $5.9 Broadcom said it will pay $12.75 per cash for Brocade. Calabasas-based Ixia said Wednesday that it has signed a definitive agreement to buy a product line from Agilent Technologies, in a deal worth $44M in cash. According to Ixia, it will acquire Agilent's N2X Data Networks Product Line, as part of a move to accelerate the firm's growth. READ MORE>>.
