During planning of the fifth year, Scott Kilroy from the USC LUG and Lei Zhang from the UCLA LUG approached him about throwing a joint effort; pooling their talents to put together the first SCaLE. Hosted at the USC Davidson Conference Center, it was initially a one-day event with just 20 speakers and two tracks.

The USC Alumni Club of West Los Angeles is putting on an amazing seminar and networking event with host Sasha Strauss. They will look at why brands matter, who they matter to, how you can build them into your marketing, advertising and public relations strategies. The seminar is due to have rich content on all thing branding.

Usually, it's someone with just curiosity about the app, and the advertisers will pay several dollars for that download, only to have the user just delete the app, without having ever played it or even gotten through a tutorial. To a man, they tell us it's the best advertising unit they've ever seen in their life. That's number two.
