What I Would Look for When Choosing a VC – Knowing What I Know Now?

VCs should be more of a coach than proscriptively telling you what to do. To be clear – I’m not saying huge successes make a VC less likely to be helpful to you – I’m just saying it’s not a guaranteed predictor. I would call their portfolio companies and ask how helpful or not they’ve been.
