I suggest you use social media, blogging, crowdfunding, or documented research to quantify a real demand from people who can afford it, and don’t have a better alternative already out there. Present at trade shows and network with your ten-slide pitch to build your following. Make sure your solution is defensible and unique.

One, is an upright, traditional looking microscopes, where you look at glass slides. We've created an alternative, a hybrid microscope for the price of one. We got a very large international order, and we found the demand on this was exceptional, not only here in the U.S., There are typically two types of microscopes.

By that time, I had figured out the cadence of pricing for hotel rooms, and had been traveling back and forth between LA and San Francisco for three or four days each week. Plus, prices were starting at $180. So do you this a lot of this is driven by a generation shifting to more of an on-demand, Uber-style lifestyle?
