Events for enthusiasts, formerly called Maker Faires, now stretch across the USA and into many other countries. They have also become great networking events for meeting other like-minded entrepreneurs.

The MIT event mentioned in my last post was held at the beautiful new Synergy Business Technology Center ( www.synergybtc.com ) in Santa Barbara. Michael Holliday, architect who conceived the incubator and designed the space has built one of the most inspired environments I have seen in a very long time. Count me in.

The lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court makes a number of allegations against Stefan Krause and Canoo, including that Christina Krause was paid less than other founding members and not given the co-founder designation or the equity stake that often comes with that title despite being a founding employee.
