Los Angeles-based dating app developer Tinder is vulnerable to snooping by hackers, letting them see if you are swiping left or right, what photos you are viewing, and more, according to researchers , in a report published in Wired on Tuesday morning. According to the report, Tinder's lack of adoption of the secure HTTPS protocol allows anyone on the same Wi-Fi network see what photos a user is viewing, even allowing them to inject photos into their stream.
