We recently ran into Chris Tragos , one of the co-founders of Jetpack (www.jetpack.net), provider of an online ad platform. We thought we'd talk with Chris about what Jetpack is up to. The HTML5 platform that we use is also available as a self service tool to customers. But, you still have lots of ideas.

To get some insight into how those names are changing--we caught up with Steve Banfield , SVP and GM of Registrar Services over at Rightside (www.rightside.co) -- which is in the midst of spinning out from Santa Monica-based Demand Media. We''re also partnering with companies like Donuts to provide a platform to host their registry.

What that means, is the banner is no longer Flash, but it slcearly HTML-based, and video based. I started a company, Neoganda, in the digital advertising area in 2005. We were in the trenches, with our sleeves rolled up, building these things, and we had the epiphany that this was not going to last. It certainly has challenges.

The trends are legit, but we have no idea what unexpected breakthrough in human interaction is going to change everything.” Things got so bad on one project that we ended up doing split shifts with teams of people programming from 8pm-6am and the next team arriving at 8am. Santa Barbara-based Likeabilitee (www.likeabilitee.com) has come up with a new, highly visual service which makes it very easy for you to analyze and understand how people are engaging with your social media posts on Facebook. Mark Sylvester: Likeabilitee is a project my partner, KymberleeWeil and I, came up with about a year ago.
