Wednesday, June 15, 2016 -- Sherman Oaks Digital Marketing Meetup. In this meeting we will be laying the ground work for digital marketing, SEO (search engine optimization), Social Media, PPC (pay per click) campaigns, CRM systems, and more. Introduction to the Online Marketing Group. See [link] (more)
But if you’re not on FB in 2016 you’re crazy. It requires too many skills in SEO, audience measurement, platform integrations, CRM, retargeting, a/b testing of titles/thumbnails and development of one’s own platform for CMS and mobile distribution. It’s both / and. YouTube AND other platforms.
And in thinking about where we wanted to place our 2016 internal resource investment dollars into we began to think about which services would have the highest impact on the three edges of this triangle and we recognized it was marketing. You spend the months influencing the influencers.
Equally, hoping to unseat TripAdvisor without understand their SEO strengths and how much it would cost to knock them down would be naïve. But that’s harder to build in 2016 than it was in say 2005. That marketing can be PR or SEO or influencer distribution or other forms of “unpaid” marketing.
