SpotOn raises $300M at a $3.15B valuation and acquires Appetize

Advisors Douglas Merritt, CEO of Splunk, and Mike Scarpelli, CFO of Snowflake, also made individual investments as angels. SpotOn is paying $415 million in cash and stock for the Los Angeles-based company.
