Calabasas-based Ixia announced today that the firm is shipping a 100 Gigabit Ethernet test system, which is being used by chip and network equipment manufacturers to test their new high speed networking hardware. Ixia said the first customer of its test system is Nortel. Ixia claims the test system is the first to market.
