Well, perhaps it’s time to consider an incubator/accelerator program: Programs like Silicon Valleys’ Y Combinator which essentially put entrepreneurs through a 3+ month startup boot camp. We realized that one problem with event venues, is that each city has a wedding website, but no one can actually determine pricing and availability of those venues. It turns out that there are lots of very high end real estate and real estate companies that would love to rent out very high end properties for events.

LA is a vibrant community with a rich network of angels that fund early stage companies, lots of VCs, easy access to big media, lots of innovation in media, mobile content, games, green, health care, and many, many others. Probably the biggest drawback of Los Angeles is the distance and traffic that makes networking more difficult.
