Los Angeles-based online advertising technology provider OpenX announced this morning that it has named Matthew Reid as its new Vice President of Marketing. OpenX said that Reid will oversee branding, customer acquisition and product marketing. Reid reports to Jason Fairchild, OpenX's Chief Revenue Officer.
Pasadena-based advertising technology firm OpenX has raised $22.5M The company said the new funds will go towards growth, financing acquisitions, and international expansion. Acording to OpenX, it more than doubled its team in 2012 to 260 employees, and saw greater than 100 percent year-over-year growth in both 2011 and 2012.
Los Angeles-based OpenX announced this morning that it has acquired JumpTime , a developer of technology to help publishers calculate the value of their content assets. Los Angeles-based OpenX said on Tuesday that it has named a new CFO. According to OpenX, Rob Leff, formerly the CFO of Fandango, will join the company to lead its global finance team. OpenX, which is led by CEO Tim Cadogan, operates its own online advertising exchange, as well as software which powers that ad exchange.

Los Angeles-based OpenX has acquired Mezzobit and PubNation , two companies in the programmatic advertising space, the company said on Monday. Financial details of those acquisition were not announced by the company. According to OpenX, it plans to integrate Mezzobit and PubNation's tools into its platform.

Los Angeles-based online advertising technology provider OpenX said late Monday evening that the company has reached $140M in revenues, which it says is a record. OpenX, which is led by Tim Cadogan, said that it saw 40% organic, year-over-year growth and added over 250 publishers during the year.
Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Among the biggest creditors that Sizmek owes money to is Pasadena-based OpenX , which is owed $5.9M. Amazon said it has agreed to acquire both the Sizmek Ad Server and Sizmek Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) products. Sizmek had been looking for a buyer for the two products.
Rubicon is not the only Southern California online advertising company apparently looking at an IPO bid; a number of sources say that fellow Pasadena ad technology firm OpenX might also have an IPO in the works.
