When Fred Wilson funded Twitter I guarantee you it wasn’t obvious that it was a billion dollar idea. Venture Capital is a tricky industry.

The reality is that as VCs we have limited allocations of where we can spend our time so we want to attach ourselves to projects in which we, too, can be passionate. I had back-to-backs all week and that’s what it’s like when you squeeze in a last-minute meeting. But it seemed to work. I spent one hour with them.
