What happens when you apply big data and computer science to digest all of that social data being fed into Twitter and other social platforms--and cross match that to location information? An example of that is the UCLA flood. So, he launched Watsup, and the first thing it showed was a highlight of the UCLA flooding.

Perhaps the most memorable connection was when I met my cofounder of Flux Ventures, Miles Anthony, during a casual lunch at one of the dining halls of UCLA.
