For us, the funding was because we have so much opportunity. We do not have reams of templates in our software. Of course, we have competitors.

Include marketing, sales, and customer rollout plans. Don’t let your passion convince you that word-of-mouth and viral marketing will suffice against well-funded competitors and ever more demanding customers. Target income and expense by year, including funding. Budget time and dollars for each.
