2010 was a momentus year for me personally. Coming off a very successful exit with Networks in Motion at the end of 2009, 2010 has been a very exciting year for several of my companies, Socialvibe, 2tor, Leadpoint, Webvisible and Impact Radius. What was the biggest news for you/your firm this year?

What I want to answer with this post (long though it may be) is: Why did Web 2.0 And so it goes with social networking.
For us, it was a big departure from social networking and a new commitment to social entertainment. In your opinion, what events, companies, or people made the biggest impact on the technology world in 2010? No doubt, it was Facebook and Twitter, which were incredible businesses for 2010. The third one, of course, is Myspace!

They are tied to and influence the strategy/direction of the business.
I made the point (not widely publicized) that OS4 is currently “breaking&# many applications that use ad networks that are not Apples (most notably AdMob, owned by Google). We also talked about how brands are increasing driving much of their traffic to Facebook and away from their own web pages. But it’s a real phenomenon.

The Tech Coast Angels is stressing its mixer program, seed investment efforts, and a new website, as it kicks off a 2010 program, according to the angel investing group. The angel group also mentioned a web site design as part of its initiatives this year.

As I prepare for my role as emcee in June for Convergence 2010 , I began to look back at how I got involved in radio. What I mean by this is we do radio better by building it around the web, social media and traditional marketing strategies alongside, behind and wrapped around our radio shows. We built unique websites for each show.
