AdviserSource Acquires Advisory Equity

Los Angeles-based financial advisory consulting provider AdviserSource.com says it has acquired Advisory Equity, a developer of a financial marketplace app developer. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Fintech Fund II, LLLP is managed by Austin Capital General Partner, LLLP, which is based in Southern California.

Private Equity Firm Puts Epicor Software On Market

Epicor Software , the supply chain management software company whose roots are in Orange County, has been put up for sale by private equity firm Apax Partners, according to reports Tuesday. Epicor still has operations through Southern California, including in Irvine, and San Diego. Apax paid $976M for Epicor back in 2011.
