A UK-based firm running an online price comparison shopping site said today that it has acquired the domain name Top10.com com from Pasadena-based Idealab , in a deal worth over $1M. Top 10 said Idealab has received a 7 percent share in the company as part of the deal, and that Idealab's Bill Gross has joined the firm's advisory board.
He said it was better than the Yellow Pages because he would provide pricing transparency.
