Overture never built the destination site to monetize from. So when Google started pushing AdSense (ads for affiliate or 3rd party sites) they had a HUGE cost advantage. So my guess is that Tweetup needs to go “multi-stream&# (as in Facebook, MySpace, etc.). In fact, their affiliate partners dissuaded them from doing so.
