Semtech Gets Design Win

Camarillo-based analog and mixed signal semiconductor developer Semtech announced a design win this morning, saying that smart home technology developer Savant is using the company's chips in a design. According to Semtech, Savant is using its BlueRiver AV-over-IP chipsets for a new IP video product line.

Semtech is tapping IBM''s 32nm SOI technology for the cores. Those designs can be integrated into systems-on-a-chip (SoC) designs by designers.
