The change in plans was reported by a user on Reddit , who discovered the change in a company support FAQ. The FAQ said it will no longer support HomeKit due to "changes in our roadmap". Brea-based electronics manufacturer TP Link has abandoned plans to support Apple HomeKit it its Kasa Smart Plug Mini, its "smart plug" which can turn on-and-off outlets in your home remotely. Details on the change in plans have not been announced by TP-Link.
