Semtech Rolls Out New Ethernet Silicon IP

The company said it has demonstrated new, 25G Ethernet capability via its new Snowbush IP, which is compliant with IEEE 802.3bj, CEI-25G, CEI-28G, and the emerging IEEE 802.3bm and CAUI-4 standards. Pricing on the IP license was not announced.

Semtech Ships New SoC Communications IP

Pricing on the cores was not announced. The company said it has shipped a 64GSPS ADC and DAC preliminary cores, which can be used for optical communications, radar and electronic warfare applications. Semtech is tapping IBM''s 32nm SOI technology for the cores. Those designs can be integrated into systems-on-a-chip (SoC) designs by designers.
