Santa Monica-based Rubicon Project , the online ad network optimization firm, told its customers today that it has just optimized its one trillionth display ad. Rubicon Project's services are used by web publishers to pick the best ad networks to run on a specific page of their site, based on the return predicted from that ad network.
I made the point (not widely publicized) that OS4 is currently “breaking&# many applications that use ad networks that are not Apples (most notably AdMob, owned by Google). We also talked about how brands are increasing driving much of their traffic to Facebook and away from their own web pages. But it’s a real phenomenon.

We've also invented and patented a new technology called "MasterKey" that allows people to play our games natively on all relevant social and mobile platforms. Yet a tiny 13 person company called Instagram, leveraged the massive growth of mobile to create a new social network.
I believe that many social networks confused this idea. I believe it is the new form of RSS – the place people go to find out what is happening in the latest news. Search will remain big but stream is an increasing method of discovering information and therefore driving web traffic. Early evidence is good.
