CalAmp Acquires Synovia Solutions For $50M

According to CalAmp, it paid approximately $50M in cash for Synovia Solutions, which it says will help it "accelerate" its pivot to the subscription services business, and away from its prior market developing wireless products for the Internet-of-Things (IoT) market. Synovia Solutions was based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
