I did a presentation recently for a graduate class from The Founder Institute around getting online/mobile products out the door. I LOVED it because, the presenting part was over quickly and we got into specific issues that the founders had in terms of getting things built. Review the code being built.
I generally am working as an acting CTO for about 3-4 start-ups or other companies at any one time. Most often I'm being brought in the early stage, Start-up or Expansion (as the company looks at new product lines). Basically, the role is to support both the business strategy and technical strategy.
I did a presentation this week at Coloft that looked at how Non-Technical Founders can go about getting their MVP built.
